Frederik’s Kirke seen from the royal circle of Amalienborg. Popularly known as The Marble Church (Marmorkirken), Frederik's Kirke was designed by the architect Nicolai Eigtved in 1740 but only really completed in 1894. It has the largest church dome in Scandinavia, and amongst the largest church or mosque domes in Europe, with a span of 31m. Viewed on a cold wintry day in February 2015.
